Favorite part of my job: The endless education it brings that I then get to use to help educate our clients. I also really enjoy getting to give exceptional care to my patients, whether it be just a technician appointment, or a surgical procedure.

Bio: Hi, I’m Madylin! I’m a Certified Veterinary Technician with about two years of experience in the field, including time spent in emergency medicine.

My journey through veterinary medicine started 13 years ago as an assistant at Hallett Veterinary Hospital. I became a CVT in 2018, took on the role of OSHA Coordinator and participated in the Leadership Team while at Hallett Veterinary Hospital.

Favorite part of my job: I love meeting new clients and their pets. Personal hobbies and interests:

Growing up on a dairy farm outside of Oconomowoc, I was always nursing that sick kitten back to health or helping the large animal vet with the cattle. I learned at a very early age that TLC had a huge impact on the well-being of animals. Why I chose this profession:

Growing up, I was raised on

When I was little I loved to play all of the veterinarian games you can think of. I started at Hallett in 2019 right out of high school as an assistant and fell in love immediately with my new career. I have since found special interest in working with nervous pets and behavioral issues.

Why I chose this profession I have always known I wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I enjoy caring for animals and I enjoy the challenges medicine provides.
