Exciting updates on changes coming for Hallett Veterinary Hospital!

Please join us in welcoming two new, full-time doctors at Hallett Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Rachel and Dr. Christina!

Here is a small introduction of the two capable and amazing doctors we are so thrilled to have joining our team:

Dr. Rachel Oberholtzer

Dr. Rachel is a UW-Whitewater alum who graduated from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. She has many years of experience in the veterinary field, starting out as a veterinary assistant in 1999 and practicing compassionate, informative veterinary medicine as a DVM since 2010. Dr. Rachel and her husband have a family of two young boys, a cat and chickens. We can't wait to have all of our patients and clients get to know her and grow to realize what a pleasure she is to be around. Welcome to Hallett Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Rachel!

Meet Dr. Rachel Oberholtzer! She joins the team starting August 1st!

Meet Dr. Christina Whitley. She joins the team starting September 11th!

Dr. Christina Whitley

Dr. Christina is a graduate of North Carolina State University - Veterinary School  who is looking forward to building lasting relationships with our clients and patients. She has great leadership skills that she developed from years of coaching high-school soccer, as well as working in veterinary emergency medicine for the last 3 years. Dr. Christina also dedicates herself to her husband (a small animal veterinarian), Connor, their 9 month old daughter, Rivers, their 8 year old Beagle, Wilson, their 2 year old cat, two leopard geckos and two corn snakes.

You told us what you need, and we listened...

To better serve the needs of our clients and patients, we will be extending our hours!  Starting June 20th, Hallett Veterinary Hospital are open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30am until 8pm. In the fall of 2017, Monday through Thursday we will be open from 7:30am until 8pm. In addition, we will also be opening on Saturdays from 8am until 4pm in the fall.  We hope this alleviates the stress of scheduling appointments for your pets!

On a more somber note…

We are saddened to report that Dr. Leyla has left Hallett Veterinary Hospital to return to emergency medicine and explore new opportunities. Dr. Leyla has been an integral part of our team for five years providing top-notch, compassionate, and knowledgeable care to every patient. We are proud to have worked with such an amazing person and veterinarian.
